Retrieve user-selected text via DXL?

Does anyone know of a DXL function to retrieve the user-selected text within an attribute value in a DOORS module view?

Hi,

Use the following code:

//This dxl prints the current selected text from a module

callStdItem_(clipCopyFlatItem)

string strRichString = stringOf(richClip)

RichText rt

string strResult = ""

for rt in strRichString do
{
strResult = strResult " " rt.text
}

print "Selected Text = " strResult "\n"

Rony

Hi,

Here is my little brick:
You don't need to loop through rich text to display plain text:
//This dxl prints the current selected text from a module
callStdItem_(clipCopyFlatItem)
string strRichString = stringOf(richClip)
print "Selected Text = " (plainText strRichString) "\n"
